Ac blows
Any have any tricks to making the ac blow harder? I replaced the blower motor last year, and its getting good voltage, so I would think it would be ok. I recently had to swap the resister for the normal reason lol I put a thermometer on the vents and what's coming out is 55°... It's just that its weak.

Re: Ac blows
Possible problems:
Several decades of accumulated crap blocking airflow thru the evap coils. One or more of the flapper valve control pots are shot and leaving the flappers partially open. On the temp side, make sure the heat/cold flapper is adjusted to be fully closed on cold. You can pull the blower motor and sort of clean the evap coil if your hand/arm is flexible enough. |

Re: Ac blows
I had considered taking the blower motor out or blowing the vents out with the compressor. That truck was rarely driven prior to my buying it, so I really don't know what's had time to set up in there.

Re: Ac blows
Another thing to check is the passenger side kick panel flapper. Make sure it is opening when the AC is on max cool. It recirculates cab air instead of pulling outside vent air. If the system is expecting it to be open and the vacuum pot has failed, you won't have much airflow.
