47-55.1 Registration Holes for Doors

Any tips for pinning or otherwise getting doors back into alignment once removed for whatever reason? How big a pin or shoulder bolt, roll pin or what? Location of pin also.

Appreciate some direction, have button electrical contacts for door poppers in the works and will be removing doors multiple times after alignment. Forsee a nightmare.

i usually use 1/8" roll pins for this knida stuff..youd just have to find the best spot where you can get to it with a drill and have room to drive pins in

I'lle give it a try. Have just the tool to support the effort, one of those magnets on a flex cable. Perfect for fishing roll pins out of bottom of door.

Get everything lined up the way you want then find a spot to drill an 1/8" hole through the fixture and the fastening surface. You can then use a piece of coat hanger to re-align when assembling. The coat hanger can be removed for final adjustment if needed.
It worked for me!
