pretty nice 67 stepside bed for sale in Dallas...lots of pics

Selling my 67 stepside bed. Has very light surface rust. You could just sand it down and paint it as is. Pass side fender has been repaired in rear, but looks fine as is. Driver's side fender is near mint, with no cut-out for spare. Step plates are very, very nice. A couple of very minor dings in the bedsides, but nothing major. Top rails are very nice. Front bed panel is perfect. Original "CHEVROLET" tailgate is very nice as well. The wood floor is shot, and missing a few hold down strips, but overall, a pretty straight, rust-free bed.
$400 and you come pick it up.
If no takers on the bed, I will consider parting out, and could ship the fenders, steps, gate, or bedsides pretty cheap by Greyhound.
You can PM me or email me directly at carpediem_00@yahoo.com

Reply to 71stepside and 72shadetree:
Thanks for the inquiries on the bed parts.
I want to see if I can sell it complete, though.
I'll keep ya posted.

superchevy,

I may have found a way to pick this bed up. Please let me know how straight the bedsides are. What I mean is if you held a straight edge on them from the bed floor up (vertical) are they straight? Most of them are concave from people stuffing oversized items in them over the years. If they are staight we may be able to work out something.

1971Stepside,
They're pretty damn straight.
I'll check them with a straightedge tomorrow and let you know.

Thanks. Just to give you a little background, I bought a bed from a fellow in Colorado that was rust free and near perfect. When it got here I could not use anything off of it!! So, I'm just being a little gun shy, forgive me. It isn't personal.

I am trying to build a cream puff of a truck so let me know if something can't be or isn't of that quality. For instance, the straightness of the bedsides and the tailgate condition. I can do minor work no problem. I'll shut up now....thanks for checking this out for me.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
