What style key for my '68 c10
They have two styles of keys that or shown correct for a '68. Did my truck come with a octagon or square key.
I do not have the original keys for it. |

When did they do the square key for the ignition and the round key for the doors? Was it later models?

My 72 still uses the same key for doors and ignition.

My 71 has both. Been so long ago that I don't remember if I did it are it came that way.

All '67's had the octagon key and the early '68's had the octagon key. GM started getting complaints about the small head key being hard to turn because of the recessed ignition bezel so somewhere during the first half of '68 they went to the rectangular head keys. LockDoc
