2wd K5 drop questions
The front is easy, my main question is in the rear of a K5 is there room to flip one? Rear spring hangers look different than a C10.
Thanks

Re: 2wd K5 drop questions
4x4 rear hanger (by the back bumper) is longer than the 2wd version.
But they allow the use of a flip kit and not be too low. The original 2wd spring hanger with a flip kit, in my opinion is too low and will definitely need a c-notch in the frame. But this also gets the center section of the rearend very close to the bed floor. Much closer than on a pickup frame.

Re: 2wd K5 drop questions
An original 2wd I think. A friend asked about dropping one. And remember the front hanger being up the rail further.
Is there room for a long shackle with getting into the filler neck Thanks

Re: 2wd K5 drop questions
The ‘81 2wd blazer I had was equipped with 52” rear leaf springs.
I used a drop leaf spring (no flip kit) and a drop shackle. I had to re-work the fuel fill hose.
