4200 6cyl conversion ?
I have a 4200 6cyl that's in my mom's Yukon. Truck has 73k on it but the frame is shot left lowere control arm fell off the truck, had to get her a new grand Cherokee to tow behind her motorhome. Now this engine has great power and would I think work great in my 68. Has anyone done one ?

the website of the Inliners International club. [I just wish GM had built a Vortec 4800 L6, 2nd gen 292.] You need some kind of computer onboard to run it. [ PCM.] But if you know about that stuff, it can be done.

Re: 4200 6cyl conversion ?
I looked into one of these for a swap myself. The biggest issue is the oil pan is a front sump and won’t clear the crossmember. Not sure if the aftermarket makes a rear sump conversion pan?
