What is this line for???

And do I need it???. As you can see it runs along the transmission to a t on top of the transmission and then has another vacuum line going out to I do not remember where. you can see the White Cap and the bracket. I believe it mounts right at the transmission/engine mounting point.

Yes, you should probably keep it. The white part is a vent and the line that is T'd off of it is the puke line, incase the trans gets hot and it pukes out fluid, that hose routs it away from the exhaust so it doesn't get on it and cause a fire.
