kick panel vents

should I permanently seal up my kick panel vents?
I never use them...

and what is the best way

I sealed mine up since I'm not going to use them anymore. I actually peeled back the outer skin of the cowl and cut a piece of sheet metal and spot welded it to the flange - see my build for clarification. You'll still see the vent from the inside, but you can use that space for speakers too. I am planning on sealing it up from the inside with seam sealer. Also install the cowl screens so you don't get a bunch of leaves and trash built up at the ends of the cowl.

i was thinking about sealing them up and then using the kick panel speakers I got .
so i will probably just have the body shop fab in a piece of sheet metal while it is there and seal them up
