finally joined the club. Fresh meat inside
Been a member for a while. Finally broke down last summer and purchases my dream ride. Its not exactly what I want yet so some build updates will come later.
specs: 72 k5 454, th350, np208. 4.10 gears dana 44 front, 12 bolt rear. 2.5 king c/o's front and back with king bypass shocks. Linked suspension. Just added PRP front seats and a corbeau rear bench for the kids. Family loves it. This winter will be the motor and front frame work. Needs alot of structure work in the front to handle the abuse of running this in the sand and whoops. Taking donations for my ls3 build to install. The wiring is an absolute nightmare that needs a gut job. current issue is I have no turn signals so that is the next issue to tackle. Looking forward to learning alot from this board. |

Looks like a solid base to modify to your liking!

That thing is already set up to do some pretty serious wheeling! Enjoy.

Nice! And a GL4x4 person, to boot
We are running a heads/cam 6.0 in our 71 Jimmy, very happy with it. Also *very* happy with the Holley Terminator X Max that controls it and the 4L65e. There's decent LS swap info here, although most are for 2WDs and/or more towards stock motor type applications. |
