I have a split bench out of 60’s what I think is Impala. It looks like it would be cool but it’s really not wide enough by several inches. It doesn't take much to be off center from the steering wheel.

^ Yep , Chevelle ,Malibu , Impala , to narrow for these trucks . there's nothing more uncomfortable than sitting off center of the steering wheel . Always measure across any seat your thinking of using as a bench seat replacement it should be about 58 1/2 inches across and the car seats sit much lower .

I just went and double checked a factory seat bottom cover width and it measured 58 1/2 ' Maybe someone can measure across their installed cover ?
