The Three Vacuum nipples on the Control Head Switch, Is one supposed o be plugged? anyone have a diagram of where the hoses go?

The 3 port controller has a different diagram. But the water valve needs to be the type that is water open with vacuum applied. If you have the water valve that closes with vacuum applied, then you could probably use the diagram you posted and cap off the unused port on your controller. You would have to experiment to figure out which port to cap.
