Does anyone know of a 4” connector that can connect these ebrake cables. Adjustable one would be great.

look at Lokar ebrake stuff they sell the hardware I think you need

Sorry I guess the picture did not attach. Let me try again. I looked at the Lokar stuff and nothing seems to fit.

Depending on how well you weld light weight metal you might cut that piece in the middle and add a piece of steel tubing that would slip over it that was cut open just far enough to slip the ends in to it to lengthen it.

Or maybe simpler, get another one of those connecters from the wrecking yard and use a bolt long enough to make the extension and round off the flats on the bolt to slip in the sleeve. Adjust the nut to the right length and tack weld it or flatten the end of the threads so it doesn't come off.a bit ugly maybe but effective simple and the big expense will be the cost of gas to go get the second connector piece.

What's this on and is that a factory cable? I had same type of connection and I was lucky enough to be able to move the bracket that holds the cable enough to get the connection.

It is all stock ford stuff that I have on a 55 gmc truck. I’m just surprised there is not something for that. Something like this but would attach to the stock ends.

Mine originally had a connector like the one in your first pick but I used the silver shiny one instead.

I could maybe see using a turnbuckle with both ends as hooks using the silver connectors, or maybe use the silver ones, and weld heads onto turnbuckle screws to fit into each slot.

The kind of connector in first pic. Maybe you could extend it using two of them. Threaded rod and nuts that would slide in maybe? Or one on each end of a rod and weld them.

I have seen intermittent cable connectors but nothing so short. But maybe one of these ideas will work.

what sort of system do you have there? a single cable connecting to another single cable?
possible look into a cable shop that builds park brake cables, they may have a short connector like you need. they may also be able to fab up a short connector cable that would connect to your system in the middle with same style connectors as you have in the pic
the trouble with anything that has an eye connector, like a turnbuckle, is that the eye of the open hook will elongate under load, like when you least need it to elongate, or the alloy center bracket of the turnbuckle will break.
is there a way to reroute the cables to take up the slack?
if that older looking part is the piece coming from the front park brake actuator and it is from a donor vehicle, maybe check into another wheelbase model of that donor vehicle. the front cable may be longer.
