Car Wash:INSIDE and Out??? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Living in the snow belt calls for frequent truck washing in the winter. At a local 'brushless' car-wash (pressurized water), I get considerable leakage at the door and window tops. Is this typical of these trucks, or is it time to replace door and window seals? A little wet and wondering.

My seals are still fairly new, and so are hubbies on the step side, they both leak some. If you figure out how to make it stop with out changin them all out again, lemmie know...

It is pretty common...however, if you are getting a whole bunch of watter, new ones wouldn't be a bad idea.
