I think he wanted pics to see the case condition. Think twice speak once. That's a quote from Pocahontas I believe. If not sounded good at the time.

Gnu,

Any idea what the t-case and tranny together might weigh? I'd like to get it shipped to 60563, but I'm wondering if I'd have any ability to get it into the back of my truck. Maybe in two pieces?

A 205 stripped of all extras such as yokes and speedos and shifters weighs in at 145lbs. Just under maximum by UPS. The 203 weighs more obvoiusly, thought maybe this would give you an idea.

bpmcgee, I had a CH465 shipped by truck freight from Akron, NY to Wichita, KS and it was about $160 to ship it. It was over the UPS maximum.

fedex freight is actually american freightways, fedex bought them out awhile back. Truck freight is very expensive though. I ship alot of axles and other large truck components so I know from experience.

gn4,

Would you be willing to separate the transfer case from the tranny? I'm interested in buying them both, but I won't have any way at it's destination of moving one piece of 300 lbs <g>.

I'll do some calling and see what I can find about freight weights on two items, roughly 150 lbs each.

Gn4,

I found that, if they weigh 150 lbs each, UPS will ship them for around $90. Strange, I didn't think that UPS would shift something that heavy!

Can you confirm that they'd fit under that weight?
