What did you get done this weekend 8/25/2019 edition

For me there were a lot of projects going on this week had to do a fuel pump in an 00 Expedition and the never ending quest of my nephews Ramcharger we are doing a total reconstruction on, and Saturday night my headlights went out on my plow truck while driving it and spent an hour or so chasing down that. On my Chevy Square all we got done was installing the J Pol Raptor bedliner and I began hacking away more at the bedside to do rust repair.. got tired and said enough for today
How about you all?

Re: What did you get done this weekend 8/25/2019 edition

2/3 done with an 8 yr old concept/project. After I got the gen5 swapped 87 on the road, figure I'd dust off the cluster parts and get back to autocading the final bits.

Goal was an updated cluster with through the dial lighting but not give away most of a paycheck for some digital Dakotas or autometere set. These clusters go for 75$. Some plastic and lots of planning and this is what I got so far. Plus it adds to the uniqueness of my build... everything was hand build by me and no one else has this setup completed that I know of.

Speedo and tach are the only ones that used the original dodge cluster housing only to retain the 3 warning lights in the tach face.

Fuel and temp pod is left... a bit more involved since the cluster lens has a step where the clock is.

Just need to get the oil pressure sensor fitted to the oil bypass cover

Suggestion;

Why not leave off the date and all posts will be in one thread instead of creating new threads? Maybe naming thread title a little?

As I said, just a suggestion.

I recon it's done like this like a newspaper.. no point in having a what did you get done this weekend thread. Also a small chance of you remembering something you seen in an August xx 2019 edition, you wouldn't have to scroll through 27,597 posts to find what your looking for.

It is easier to scroll thru 10 pages in one thread than to search for 10 threads with maybe one page in each thread!!!
