Can anyone tell me what a longhorn is and what makes it special??

The longhorn has a 133 inch wheelbase, 6 inches longer than the regular long bed, and the bed was extended 6 inches. I've heard they were popular with folks who bought cabover campers... very popular in the late 60's and early 70's.
There are several Longhorn owners on this board who can speak to their specialness
