Help please! - door latch screw size?
We were switching latches from the shot doors on my 72 Jimmy to the "new" original doors from Arizona I was lucky enough to be to able to scrounge up.
As careful as we were we stripped the head on one of the door latch screws on the two doors. Used a power tool only after we could not get that last dang screw out of the two doors by hand. What is the size of that screws used for the door latches??? Know I can get them on GMC pauls or LMC. But I only need one so hoping I can get just one at Lowes, Home Depot or Ace Hdwe. Terry |

three plain finished #3 recessed phillips screws each. The screw threads are 5/16-18 x 5/8. I have to be careful with "plain finished". Probably clear zinc.
