You can pickup a new reproduction fan shroud for a small block in your area. Classic Industries in just one source.

No kidding. If I lived in SoCal I'd be over in Orange visiting The Truck Shop and pick one up.
Brothers is in Corona, a little farther from you. But man your in the Meca for that stuff. Also check Craigslist there. There was a guy down in Chula Vista on Craigslist, anyway...

Re: WTB Fan shroud hood latch assembly
The truck is a 65 350 I thought I might grab some decent American parts from someone with a donor truck. Th crap we have been getting new is pretty bad. We have to replace a headlight switch 4 times in the last year because of the imported crap. I live and the shop is in hot rod heaven of Huntington Beach. I can almost throw a rock to Classic Industries. We just downsized and sold the building to some guy next store and moved over one to the space we were using for storage and overflow. It’s been a real pain adjusting tho the loss of parking and floor area. Our buddy next store is real happy he was able to expand, remodel and clean up. Then they started filming the New season of Overhauling. Chip is a good neighbor to have.

Re: WTB Fan shroud hood latch assembly
The original V8 shroud looks like this. A bakelite type of material. The reproductions are pretty good on that piece I believe. Do you have the original side baffle pieces?
