I'd liek to see plans as well, also, speaking of york compressors...what one/s are the best to get for airsuspension use. Also how much can one expect to pay and where can i find one?
Sorry, not trying to jack your thread, just thought i'd ask since you were asking about the compressors. Kenny

Get from Junkyard, from AMCs, Fords, Volvos, International Harvesters, and Oldsmobiles in the '70's and early '80's. I got one for $20. If you want a new one, check here http://www.onboardair.com
What to get, you want one that has the number F210Y on a motorcraft tag, or a York 210.

Go with onboard air like Capt said. They have a conversion kit too. I am going with the bracker that replaces the Harrison compressor since I have no A/C anymore. I hate waiting for the stinkin 450C to pump up my truck. Obnoxious piece of poo.

I dont think that they have a kit, but they have parts that will work. They have a bracket that will bolt to my stock compressor bracket, then bolt the York to the bracket. He said I would have the tension the belt off of the alternator though.

It's a little pricier than most would like to pay but all I had to do was get the belt and make the bracket, worth it to me. :read: http://www.airliftcompany.com/easystreet/manuals/MN-517(27363,27361).pdf |

Here is my first attempt at a bracket. It works okay, but it flexes a little. The weight of the compressor and the belt tension is a little too much for the 1/4" steel. It either needs to be beefed up or I need to add another support bracket (which I don't want to do)

What accessories are you guys running? I having problems figuring out how I can make the mounts universal because of all the different combinations os accessories and belt combinations.
I have a double v set up with one going off the crank, water pump, and alternator. The other belt goes form the crank to the powersteering. I spaced my power steering pump forward about an inch, and had to slightly modify the stock mount where it bolts through the exhaust manifold. I power steerin pump (which is off of a 71 – don’t ask) already had a double grooved pulley on it, so all I had to do was add the belt to it to drive the compressor… So... what I'm thinking here, because only you know exactly how how you are going to drive this thing... is that I can make the parts, and have you weld them together. OR, if you can give me EXACT measurements of where you want the pulley in relationship to the head, I could do it that way. Either way, you'll need to do a slight mod to your power streering pump bracket... but I could probably make the piece you need to modify that, too. But it will require you to *gasp* weld a little |

I don't quite understand why you had to space out your power steering pump. Here is how my belts are routed......
So you just have a belt going from your power steering pump up to the York? I designed my bracket so the groves on the York would line up with the grooves on the power steering pump. My York has a dual groove pulley (I assume the second groove would prevent any slippage under load). Does yours slip at all?
