Serpentine pulley tool question

OK so this has me stumped. How do I torque down the 15/16” nut while holding the shaft in place (hex head screw)? The pulley is fairly deep so I can’t get a regular wrench in there.

Re: Serpentine pulley tool question

Impact wrench, maybe? Hold the pulley and let the impact do the job. How critical is the torque on that nut - is it possible to over-torque it?

Re: Serpentine pulley tool question

Thanks for the quick replies. I used an impact gun, I think that should work. There’s a lock nut underneath and it just has to hold up to the alternator internal spinning resistance.
