clutch pedal linkages
as yall know i have a 76 C10 that has a 250 I 6 motor in it with the three on the tree. Recently because of rust issues ive replaced the entire cab with a 81 C20 cab.The 81 cab used to be a standard shirt cab too cause the brake pedal is one of the real small onesMy question to you all is is there any difference between the clutch linkages from, 76 to 81 cause i stripped out almost every part i could out of the 76 cab .i want to blot this up as painlessly as possible Do i need to use the clutch assy out of a newer ( 81-87 ) truck?
Ive already swapped over the wiring harness and the column

If you are putting the whole assembly in there, you won't have a problem. I put a 73 in my 86 cab for mock up purposes. Techically, as long as you put everything from cabA and put it in cabB, you won't have a problem. It is when you start miss-matching parts that you have problems.

now i left the metal that was riveted into the cab which the cluthc pedal bolts through( brake pedal too) is that going to make a difference?

You are talking about the large shaped piece just to the right of the firewall clearance right? They will be the same, BUT, depending on the setup of the donor, you might either have 2 holes missing, or 2 extra.

the piece of metal i was referring to is the one inside the cab its under the dash and athe column bolts up to it and the brake and clutch pedals go into it
