Is there anyone who makes a conversion kit for the REAR of the 3/4 ton trucks - or anyone who has done it?

I'd have to wonder why anyone would want to do it with a stock rear axle but I think you can probably do it the same way the 4x4 guys do with a caliper bracket that mounts to the axle housing flange and some 8 lug 4x4 rotors.

I bought the wrong rotors for my 71 GMC rear axle though and they won't fit the rear axle flange.

I bought these caliper brackets from Wisner machine works off Ebay

Well....it will have a better geared diffy for better highway use....There are a lot of things people do to their trucks that I can't understand (like lowering them to an inch off the ground....), but it's all up to how the guy doing it wants it done.

Poking around the net this morning I found this outfit that sells these brackets and also shows the rotor they suggest in another page. https://www.wfoconcepts.com/pr/Weld-...-Lug-Pair/3478

This is the rotor they suggest which is a Raybestos 5014R that can be sourced locally.

Calipers depend on if you need the emergency brake built in to the caliper or if you have a truck with it on the back of the trans.

I like the fact that they said put the rotor on the axle and then how to fit the bracket up to the rotor. That is something I hadn't seen before .
