69 front spring question
I tried to install my new front springs using a spring compressor and of course had the spindles off. Worked and worked at it and never could get them in. Any suggestions?
thanks |

Pu the spring in with the spindle off and put a jack under the lower control arm and jack it up slowly. Also, put a chain thru the spring and around the upper arm in case it decides to take off. It would really hurt to get smacked in the head by one of those. Once you get it in, drive it around and seat them good. You might hear a pop sound when it seats. Good luck
