Did you install carpet in it? I think the tack strip would hold.

I’d put Air.O carpet in it... no tackstrip needed.
Astro turf if it was Bill Clinton’s but that a different story.

So you've watched since there was no tree? Ain't nothin' but a live edge job there. If someone doesn't cut that tree we'll have this:

That all wood Ford doesn't need carpet. It has hardwood floors. That was a poplar option that year

The wood never made it to the bed on this one. The truck was parked and the tree didn't yield.

Re: Wood bed with a different take

^^^ This is what happens when you take your engine to an engine builder with slow turn-around time. The good part is there's plenty of wood there to make it a crate engine

Re: Wood bed with a different take

I thought only CST, Cheyenne, and Cheyenne Super got woodgrain.

I'm pretty good under the hoods of these trucks. But that one stumps me

I know where the root of the problem lies

If we run out of comments, we may have to branch out.

Couldn't leave that alone.

It's definitely a stick.

And probably a tree-seven-tree rear axle with leaf springs.

At least it comes with a complete maintenance log.
