Did any 67-72 have heater hose connection @ radiator?
My '69 CST20 w/350 has a radiator w/heater hose nipple on the right near the top. I don't believe it's original to the truck. The hose connection is blocked off and the heater uses the water pump and intake manifold connections. Is this correct? Also when I had the water pump off noticed the bypass hole has a factory block off dowel in that bypass hole. Thoughts??

My '69 CST20 w/350, A/C and original 4 row radiator does not have a nipple on the radiator. The original water pump didn't have any bypass provisions. However, if you ever change to a Vortec engine you'd need a bypass.

Probably a replacement radiator. Some big blocks used the radiator fitting 73 up.

I have seen them like that on a few trucks over the years I think they were all 4 core radiators...

The outlet hose from my heater core goes to that radiator nipple on my '72 K20 with factory A/C.

Hmm. The return line on my 71 BBC with A/C connects between the heater core and radiator. Seems I saw an image in the assembly manual of both examples, one to the radiator, the other to the water pump.

My 72 C10 has a heater hose going to the radiator near the top on the passenger side. Pretty sure it's the original radiator. It's a factory AC truck.
