Re: Cool 67 workhorse
There is so much custom about that they hardly used anything Suburban or Panel that a pickup didn't have. Actually, I believe they did build that from a pickup. Look at the door's window frame

Re: Cool 67 workhorse
(I hate that)
I didn't pickup (not a pun) on those other things. How about that. Funny how people worry about the fuel tank being in the cab and here is an ambulance with one right in the middle of it. That thing was a lot of work. A lot of custom pieces.

Re: Cool 67 workhorse
Have any of you long timers seen that before? I've never seen one. It seems like used hearses are often cheaper than the same vehicle unmodified. Also they tend to be very clean and well cared for when I come across one. I would LOVE to have one of those, but because of the 67-72 popularity they would be fairly costly.

Re: Cool 67 workhorse
Lower trim too boot! It a good thing I didn't find that before I bought my Burban 'cause I'd be out hazarding traffic in that bad boy.
All that space for stuff and its only a C10.

Re: Cool 67 workhorse
Search Pinner in this site someone actually beat me to it. There’s a second one made from a burb. Apparently they went out of business in 68

Re: Cool 67 workhorse
That is cool and weird! Those rear doors are looooong.
Check out the body alignment at the hood/fender/cowl. I’d bet it left the GM factory like that.
