Power window harness(dash section)

It’s the 81-86 style for a regular cab and includes the relay(has not been tested). Been piecing together harnesses and after buying this I found the one I actually wanted. No cuts, splices, damage, plug it in and go. Can be made to work with 87-91 with connector changes where it attaches to the doors as the wire color is all the same.

$76.50 shipped in the lower 48

First I’ll take it in the thread gets it.

Re: Power window harness(dash section)

That harness is actually correct for 78-83 since it requires a resettable 30A circuit breaker for the power windows.

So there is also an 84-86 harness then?

Re: Power window harness(dash section)

More like 1984-up...the power window feed went directly to a WDO cavity (blue connector) which was a fused switched IGN bussbar source on the fuse block. That harness you have would still work of you just terminate the correct connector on it assuming you must be dealing with a newer style fuseblock-it’s the only difference on the harnesses going back until 1978. 1977 was its own design with a few changes also but as far as IGN sourced power for the LH switch is concerned, 1978-83 is the same-I want to say 1984 was the change but possibly it was a mid year production change on the fuse panels...? That idk for certain.
