Bench seat with 3 spd floor shift

Is anyone running a 3 speed floor shift kit with a bench seat? Just wondering if there are any shift lever clearance issues. Pics would be great if you have them

my old 72 had a floor shifter on it. as long as you get a shifter with a long enough handle before it bends youll be ok if ya get one too short three will hit the seat and pop out of gear on the bumps

Tom's right

The Hurst Indy shifter that I had on my 3 speed had plenty of clearance.

The 3-speed I had in the truck before the Tremec had a Hurst floor shift. The engine was in the 6 cyl position.

The shift lever was "hot wrenched" with a torch to clear the bench seat. Even so it would occasionally hit the bench seat in 3rd.

I believe if the engine was in the V8 position the standard Hurst shift lever would clear with no problem.
