73 Cheyenne Super Camper Special trim package

I have this 73 K20 Super Special. The body is just way too rusty. I am considering removing all the trim that makes it a super special and selling that as a package. Woodgrain and emblems I guess? What would all that be worth?

Would love to see this truck saved. Big difference between West and East coast rust. Would you mind posting a complete picture?

Re: 73 Cheyenne Super Camper Special trim package

I wish it was better than this but I can push my finger thru the inner skin in the top of the cab. I bet I could pull it apart with my bare hands. So sad... I don't think the sun visors would fasten back on there. It runs and drives nice. I was thinking this truck could donate all it's jewelry pieces to someone's better project and still serve as a truck, until the body absolutely starts to fall off. Then, I could salvage the chassis to make a K20 out of a nice C10 long box. I already have my eye on a sheltered C10 with factory cab lights in a pole barn down the road from me.

Looks like a good candidate. Can't beat that orange and white color combo on the K20 though. Sounds like you need to do a build thread now, haha

Re: 73 Cheyenne Super Camper Special trim package

I ended up with the Skyline Blue Silverado. Now, after learning it's history, I don't want to tear it apart, well maybe to shorten it. Owner traded in his 68 Fairlane.
