Factory tilt verification
Hey everyone, I'm dealing on a manual tilt column that I'm told is for a truck. I only have these two pictures, what's an easy way to verify if it came from truck?

Re: Factory tilt verification
It doesn't look like it has the correct half moon signal wiring end that these trucks have. That's Wierd cause the vans these came in were all automatic that had that wiring end unless it was changed at one point

Re: Factory tilt verification
That might be a '68 Corvette column. If it is, it's worth a good bit.

Re: Factory tilt verification
However, the the turn signal switch/wiring could have been replaced. Pretty common.

Re: Factory tilt verification
I've asked for more pictures. Other than the two pics I don't know much else about it lol.

Re: Factory tilt verification
The knob on the tilt lever looks suspect- same style knob used on '73 and newer square body trucks.

If you can get a pic of the firewall side, it may reveal if it’s a converted auto column. Depending on what you’re paying, none of this may really matter. If it’s cheap and not sloppy loose, get it.
