Pedal Spring
On the interior of the cab is there supposed to be a Clutch pedal spring?
Does the spring help to Depress the pedal? Or help return the pedal up towards the driver? I'm pretty sure it attaches to this stud, but to the Dash or to the Firewall?

Re: Pedal Spring
There is supposed to be a spring there to help return the pedal up. Not sure where the other end of the spring attaches right now. I know it helps raise it because my pivot ball just broke off flush with the engine block tonight and the spring brings the pedal back up. I can push mine all I want but nothing happens now.

This image from the assembly manual shows two different configurations. Make sure there isn't a spring at the top of the pedal arm on yours. LockDoc
