Truck guys are everywhere
Some of you know I also have a 65 Corvair convertible that Im trying super hard to finally doing something with in mid December.
I was over on the large Corvair forum and a fella there had this cool plate that you mounted to your floor jack and your Corvair engine. It makes it much easier to drop and pull the engine out. Well this guy was making a run of these plates so I joined the board, contacted him, and am purchasing from him. I told him I would get him a postal money order out today since Ive been shipping out a bunch of 67-72 Chevy truck parts via the post office, Im there a lot. Guess what? Yep he has one of our trucks and sent me a bunch of pics of his project. Im not going to mention his name or anything, but he knows of this site … maybe he'll join.

That's a stout lookin' rig he has -- is it a K10 or K20? I can't quite make it out.

Re: Truck guys are everywhere
Keith,
Never saw that photo. Pretty cool that your Dad towed with a Corvair before the Grand Prix. You had a good childhood.
