Longhorn to 4x4?

Ive got a nice Longhorn, and need a 4x4. Is it prohibitively expensive to modify the front clip?
My plan is a Dana 60 front axle, a 205 t case, and powered by a 427.
It is time for a drivetrain overhaul, so, why not?
Why do I need a 4x4? Plowing snow from my 1/4 mile driveway.
I did a search, but didn't really find what I was looking for.

Well...there is a 4X4 longhorn on the parts board for sale...you could just slap an engine in that one nad keep it as a winter beater, and do up your 70 CST up real nice.

Just an idea.

I'd keep the longhorn "as is" and get out the Uncle Henry's and pick up a "Yard Plow". What you are contemplating, while feasable, is a lot of effort and not justifiable IMO. What about the big F%&d you had? That would push some snow!

BTW, Happy Holidays to you and the family!

Your right, the big F#@d does plow like mad, but due to recent downturns in personal income, the big F@#d is likely going away.
So, my second choice to modifying the Longhorn, is selling the longhorn, somthing I am loath to do. Where am I ever going to find somthing like that again? I have a lot of money in the LH already, I could never get out what I have in.
