A friend has this nice solid 65 , I haven’t seen many original swb 4x4. Were there many made?

There aren't too many of those around, and that's a '63 by the windshield and grill.

The K series production was considerably less than the C series. That truck is likely a '63 based on the windshield and the fender emblem. The grill is a '64-5-6.

Re: 1965 k10 swb
My Dad had a 64 K10 SWB when I was a kid. I have looked for one for years and haven't had any luck getting one bought. There is a 66 K10 SWB local to me, but he isn't interested in selling.
