Cool Hello gentlemen

(and ladies too )

My name is Jonathan Reding. I've known about these boards for a while, but have just now made it over here to become part of the group. I seem to be caught up with reading all the recent posts, so I thought I would post up and say hello. I'm a longtime member of ColoradoK5.com and I've seen several guys from there on here as well.

A little about myself: I'm a 19 year old college student going to IU. My permanent home is a little town near Indy called Anderson. It is home of Guide Corporation, which used to be part of GM and produced headlights and taillights for every GM vehicle on the road for a long time, and also the front bumper assemblies of Corvettes. It was sold a few years ago and is now trying to make it on its own, but still has a large contract with GM. Both of my parents work there, my mom in the office and dad in the factory. I've been interested in cars since I was little but only recently have started undertaking projects of my own. I got a 1968 C20 about 4 years ago for $200 and it has snowballed since. Here is what I currently own:

1968 C20: 350, SM465, Eaton 4.11

1975 K5: 350, TH350, NP203, Dana 44 front and 12 bolt rear with 3.07 ratio, custom rust

1977 C10: 350, TH350, 12 bolt 3.42

1988 Jeep XJ (Cherokee): 242, AX15, NP231, Dana 30 front and Dana 35c rear with 2.73 ratio

I tend to be a pic whore so here are a few

The '68

The K5

The "Orange Crush"

No pics of the Heep since it's really not worth seeing.

Well, this looks like a great site and I look forward to having some fun times here! Take care everyone.

Jonathan

P.S. I would have used a couple smilies but it kept saying I had too many in my post. What is the limit?

Welcome aboard from Arizona.
I've got an orange '68 C/10 stepside(soon to be re engined w/ a 292), a blue '71 Jimmy (350 daily runner), a white '67 K/10 sub (longterm project 454), and a '72 K/5 rolling frame (basket case/parts truck).
It's an addiction, I know, but I can handle it, man.

A big welcome from Northern Ohio. Nice looking '77 C-10. I see you have a '73-'74 front end on it . Some time shot me a PM about how much trouble you had doing that.
