Is ‘67 CST with no exterior chrome legit?

Going to look at a 67 C20 for sale. I was sent a dozen pictures via email. The truck has CST badges on the door and the original interior looks completely correct for the CST package. The exterior of the truck has custom camper badges on the fenders and that is the only chrome on the exterior of the truck. Painted bumper, painted hubcaps, no side trim, no windshield trim etc. Was it possible to get the top-of-the-line CST with the base no chrome exterior?

I don't know 67s well, but the steering wheel cap should be cst model. And I think the windshield trim would also be there.

Here's another thread that has some info. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=699121

Actually, here is your answer. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=121155
You could get a CST without body side molding in 67. But a CST should have chrome front bumper, shiny aluminum headlight bezels, and buddy buckets.

^^^ Yep. The window trim would be on a true CST, as well as bumper & hubcaps.. Things get changed but not too likely the wing vents.

Yep that's how my 67 CST came bright work on the front and a chrome bumper with the W/shield trim but no side trim..

The bottom pic is when I bought it

(I replaced with plain rubber gaskets when I bought all the parts to restore it in the mid 80's)

That's a very good looking pickup.

Re: Is ‘67 CST with no exterior chrome legit?

OK, with the help of you guys I think I figured this out: Looking at the pictures again it appears the pics are of two different trucks. Pics of the interior are with the windows down and the CST badges can be seen, exterior shots have no door emblems! Gotta be two different trucks! Both are 503 green. I can see other trucks in the background of pics. Widow selling must have mixed up pictures. I’ll just figure it out when I go to look at this weekend.
