I got my 700R4 from Phoenix Transmission in Weatherford, TX in 2015. They provided me with a late model core (that they built for me) as well as a higher than stock stall converter. It was all shipped to me in Tennessee and has worked great.

If you TH350 is a 6" rear shaft version you might consider installing a TH700R4 overdrive trans...
If you check online most rebuilders will supply you a core trans they will rebuild, plus a convertor to suit your needs.... Check out the image below as it shows lengths etc....there are several posts on this forum dealing with the swap over... Might be something to consider....

I am unsure about long island but here in Marcy NY professional transmission did my turbo 400 and did an excellent job . I know its a good drive for you but if you cant find anything closer
