side mldg
I had to remove the side door mldg from my 03 Yukon. Does anybody know how to get the rest of the 3M tape glue off of the paint? I've tryed goo gone, goff off and heat gun with a razer blade.

Re: side mldg
I have always sprayed WD40 and rubbed it off with towl or a very fine scotchbrite pad. Had to be careful with the scotchbrite or you can scratch paint. It takes several goes at it, but the stuff came off.

Re: side mldg
You need to use the 3M eraser wheel. Use 3M only. I’ve used that on every truck I removed the moldings from and never left a scratch. Google it.

Re: side mldg
X2 on the 3M wheel, just use it lightly and a final clean up with WD40,works great,it is all I use.
