Threads with blurry pictures and watermark?
I'm guessing this is a photobucket problem, but is there anyway to view the pictures normally without them being blurred with the photobucket watermark?

Re: Threads with blurry pictures and watermark?
No, photobucket used to be the best host for large pics, but they decided to start charging after several years of being free. All will be blurred unless that person has paid for a photobucket account.

Re: Threads with blurry pictures and watermark?
I am one of those who had Photobucket yank the rug out on. After the grand renig they kept sending me e-mails stating there was a deadline to subscribe to get access to my (my own!) pictures for sharing. Was that to avoid interruption from this watermark/blurry issue until a do subscribe or could I subscribe today and my pictures would be restored? I was too Po'd to pay any attention at the time. I wonder if I subscribed my existing pictures posted here would be restored or marked forever now. I assume I could subscribe and at least be able to steal my pictures back. I have been through losing all my files on two failed computers that are still on P-Bucket. I'd like to have them back. I could replace their watermarked pictures as I came across them that way, I'd think. Anyone have any experience with this?

Re: Threads with blurry pictures and watermark?
Thanks. That's what I thought it was, but I had seen several threads where people had mentioned "fixes" using firefox and chrome extensions to get around the problem. However, those seemed to only work temporarily.
So basically, if anyone is looking at detailed pictures in a build thread, unless the original poster has a paid photobucket account, the pictures will be blurred? Whoa, that has to affect a ton of threads. |

Re: Threads with blurry pictures and watermark?
I started saving my pictures off there to me files, then they must have traced them there? All I knew is after a while the pictures were replaced with a stupid icon thing. I've been meaning to pay up, get pictures off there, cancel. Good riddance is right! They impacted the whole internet with this maneuver. GRrrrrrrrrr
