Where does the horn go?

Doing some reassembly on my 65. Where is the factory location for the horn? Does it go on the front of the rad support inboard of the drivers headlight area? Those two holes with light coming through? (Sorry it’s upside down)

Inside the engine compartment - See this thread showing the horn and the relay:
"If" you use the stock location, the trick is finding brackets that use both hoses there.

Re: Where does the horn go?

Thanks. I might try to find somewhere to hide it. I’m trying to clean up the engine compartment, hiding the wires, etc.

Behind the headlights there is plenty of room.

Good to know. Good place to hide it away.

Re: Where does the horn go?

On my 66 I had dual horns (high and low) and they were mounted beneath and inboard of the grill support, between the frame rails.... pretty much under the radiator. I'm not positive that it was factory, but they looked like they had been there for quite some time.
