header question
There are some edelbrock tes headers on ebay say they are for a 87-91 burb. Specifically ( Edelbrock headers with y-pipe part number 6865. Fits 1987-1991 chevy suburban four wheel drive automatic transmission and 5.7 liter 350 engine.) but they look pretty close to the ones that I need for my 82 2wd blazer. Does anyone know if they will work? I know, it's not the same part number but it looks REALLY close.

they should physically bolt up. I think the difference may fall in the AIR injection tubing. 87 was the first year for TBI, so maybe that is how they were certified to be CARB legal, not a fit difference.

my 82 only had the hot air chimney to the ait cleaner, no AIR system or smog pump or anything... so the money spent on the TES headers would really be wasted. i have a set of cheapy flowtechs that are ceramic coated.
