I just finished doing my core support with POR15 paint. I am VERY impressed with it. I'm going to order their Chevy orange engine paint kit to do my engine with next week.

There was a thread about POR15 on another board I frequent a couple of weeks ago, and pretty much everyone there also said good stuff about it too.

POR15 is extremely impressive!

i recently tried the por15 engine paint and was very disappointed with it it required many coats to cover and had poor consistansy took over 24 hours to dry between coats i finally gave up on it wire brushed it all off and did my engine with spray can from VHT i've used regular por 15 for many years with excellent results but would never try their engine enamel again

I bought a can that I have yet to apply, I have used the high temp factory manifold gray coating though, it looks great.

CDOWNS-

Did you put the POR engine paint over POR15 or over your bare engine?

ive never had a problem with the regular engine paint from VHT or the stuff that pep boys sells i dont think Por 15 will make that much of a difference to warrant using it
