69 blazer front axle

Bought a 69 K5 and it has a open knuckle Dana 44 with disks , is that stock for a blazer in 69 with power brakes ? Also it came with a 71 parts K5 with 3 speed and a 205 NP .I have read that all first gen blazers with 3 speeds manual came with Dana 20 Transfer case .

The open knuckle D44 w/ discs is from a 71-newer K5. 69-70 were drums from the factory.

Re: 69 blazer front axle

It looks to be very similar shifter as 205 but slightly closer to center
