Home made BIG 10 decals
Well, not really "home made" but I found a very close font, and used my (free) INKSCAPE art program to tweak it into shape and build this color-coordinated BIG 10 sticker which I had printed at doityourselflettering.com.
Partly because I wanted them to match my truck, but also partly because I did not want to pay nearly $40 for a set of the ones I see online (that are not exactly the same as OEM). The company above printed 2 of them for me at $26 shipped! So anyway, I have the PDF file with the letters in grey (like standard decals) and if enough people are interested I will post the file so you can have your own printed.

Re: Home made BIG 10 decals
Thanks - this is the old OEM one on my buddy's truck. I matched it pretty closely and the size is the same

Re: Home made BIG 10 decals
The "B" is slightly different... it drove me crazy, until I decided it was good enough... (it's the anal-retentive-artist in me)
Nice thing, you can get whatever color you want! And I am HAPPY to share the design with anyone who is in need of new decals.

Re: Home made BIG 10 decals
I'd love it! My truck is a '76 with F44, but someone along the way put a newer bed on it so the Big10 decals are gone.

Re: Home made BIG 10 decals
Here are the stickers in a grey that is close to OEM. This is a PDF file and should be the exact size (11.25" x 2.25") as the OEM sticker.
It looks like it has a white background, but if you upload it to the website I linked, it should look like a checkered background, which means that is the part that gets trimmed away. If you upload it and do not see the checkered background, tell me and I will see if there is a problem with the file. www.doityourselflettering.com ps - when you mount them, they are 4.5" from the end, and 2.25" down from the top of the bed. Mine were printed on the Premium 3m cast vinyl with lamination. Enjoy.

Re: Home made BIG 10 decals
thanks for sharing, even though my truck is in primer I think I am going to order anyway. I think these will add to the coolness factor of truck.
Thanks Dave

Re: Home made BIG 10 decals
Glad I could help. BTW - I am not associated with the DIY Lettering company I linked above and I am not making any money off this. I have used them before for other projects and they have done very nice work.
I just wanted to help out people who (like me) are tightwads, and dont want to spend $40 on 2 decals!
