Re: ECE - closing business
This stinks. Best place to get suspension parts for a Chevy truck. Thanks for posting though, I need a set of big block 2” drop spring for my 427 swap. Discount helped but didn’t even cover shipping but happy to have them.

Re: ECE - closing business
Hate to hear this news. Pretty competitive market I'm sure. They were just one of the few companies that knew their stuff when you called.

Like everyone else I hate to see this news! I've used a lot of their products and have nothing but good things to say.

Re: ECE - closing business
I saw this posted on FB as well. I went ahead and grabbed some lenses for taillights, reverse lights, and front turn signals... along with some flasher relays.

Re: ECE - closing business
Shutting down by the looks of it. Drop kits aren't on the website anymore so once inventory is sold out that looks like that is it.

Re: ECE - closing business
Really sucks.
Who you guys recommend for disc brake kits now? I went and saved some of their tech writeups before they are gone. Last edited by drewbert41; 01-22-2020 at 03:17 PM. |

Re: ECE - closing business
They’re going with 20% off on anything left in stock! I guess that’s the only plus.

Re: ECE - closing business
Does anyone else make factory height conversion spindles for a 1970 C/10 so that I can swap to 1971 disc brakes but keep the rest of my front end components 1970? ECE was the only place I had seen those spindles and I’m not seeing them listed anymore.

Re: ECE - closing business
I thought CPP Makes stock height spindles. I have a set on my 1968. Looking at their website and on ebay and summit I can't find them right now. You might call them and ask.

Re: ECE - closing business
I was surfing the net and somehow got redirected to the ECE website. Now it says ECE got picked up by Holley, so should start seeing their products through them. Glad they're not dying.

Re: ECE - closing business
So they got bought out by Holley, sometimes its the right time to cash in. If products stay the same that's good but I'm sure the superb customer service and knowledge that the Staff had at ECE will not be of the same caliber.
