restored 69 grille shell (king of trim)

hello,
thinning out my stash again. a few years back i bought best cores i could find from members and had them shipped out to "king of trim" out in socal for restoration. they strip, straighten, polish, re-anobrite, and paint letters. this one needed a small weld in upper corner. polished and straight but anobrite reacted different to filler material. see pic. ive got $1600 tied up in it and know i won't get it all back $1000obo (other grille is a 25yr old nos grille thats been hanging in basement for years.not for sale)
side note im headed from vt to west palm fl. over to abilene tx. and crosslots back up to vt. if your in that route delivery may be an option

How often do you run that route? or was it just a one time thing?

Re: restored 69 grille shell (king of trim)

Do both restored grilles have the anobrite issue? And what is the condition and price on the NOS grille?

Re: restored 69 grille shell (king of trim)

I’m still interested in a grill. Just wanting to make sure everything is good your way.
