79 250 integrated head exhaust manifold crack

I have noticed that I have a cracked exhaust manifold for my 79 250 inline 6 with the integrated head. I have searched online, and can not find anything for a replacement. I can find plenty for the NON integrated. Can anyone help on where I can find one? Thanks.

Depending on the cracks you can use a certain type of arc welding rod to fix the issue, but you have to remove the head.

As for the non integrated it is what people want.

Re: 79 250 integrated head exhaust manifold crack

Welding may be my only fix since a replacement exhaust manifold seems to be non existent.

For the weld, since it's the exhaust manifold is cracked, do I need to remove the head? Should I be able to disconnect the exhaust manifold from underneath the integrated head?

Thanks.

Not sure. I do know you have to drill holes at the end of the cracks, and open the crack up with a grinder to allow penetration.

Also it depends on how are where the crack is situated.

I "repaired" a Toyota manifold one time with a regular mig welder long enough to trade the truck in. It wasn't so bad, and you can cut a arc welding stick down to help with the job.

Also I heard preheating the manifold or cast metal helps, and keep heat on it as it cools. I used MAP gas.
