2005 GMC Yukon XL 2500 with a 5.3?
I just saw a craigslist ad for a 2005 Yukon XL that has 8-bolt wheels suggesting it is a 3/4 ton, but there was not much info in the ad. When I contacted the owner about the size of the engine, he said he "thought" it was a 5.3. Could you get 3/4 ton Yukon XLs with a 5.3?
Thanks

Re: 2005 GMC Yukon XL 2500 with a 5.3?
The only choices were the 6.0 or the 8.1
Check the 8th digit of the vin if it’s listed in the ad. U=6.0 G=8.1 |

That's what I thought. Thanks for clarifying this for me.
Cheers
