63 to 66 k10,k20 rear upper shock mounting bolt and hardware picture request.
My 64 k20 was missing rear shocks and upper rear shock hardware. Can only find 60-62 pictures in assy manual. Looking to make or fab some new ones. Any pictures or part numbers. THANKS

Thanks for the pics. Is there a sleeve or tube between the frame and bracket with a bolt in the center or is it just one bolt? What is the size of the bolt and shock bushing? What shocks are you using? I am swapping in a 14 bolt and will also need to weld shock mounts to the axle. Thanks

I'm in the same boat here. The solution I like is to sleeve the shock mounts and use an easily available shock with whatever size bolts they come with. Finding shocks that use that giant factory bolt could be a pain in the neck.

Re: 63 to 66 k10,k20 rear upper shock mounting bolt and hardware picture request.
They are rancho shocks. Rs5143 with 3/4" bushings. There are two steel bushings in between the frame and the shock mount, they are 3/4x1"5/8 each. The bolt is 3/4x6 1/2 long and travels through the whole shock mount. We also changed to a 14 bolt ff and have the weld on shock mounts. Jdl71, I don't know if this will help you if you still have the Eaton rear end still in the truck. But it might close enough.

Thanks, now I know what to look for. However I will need to try and find a 6 inch longer shock due to my lift.

Is that a late model 14B with factory disc? Nice looking work!

Late model springs and flipped? Looks nice. I can't see it in the pic but is your upper shock mount blending in or has it been removed?

Re: 63 to 66 k10,k20 rear upper shock mounting bolt and hardware picture request.
Hey chris, that's an older 80s 14 bolt ff. Drums and brakes were shot. After pricing out new brake drums and hardware we decided to go with the lugnut 4x4 brake conversion. Those are the stock springs and we had all four reworked at the local spring shop and they are sitting in the stock spring hangers. You can see in the pictures that they still have the factory rivets in them. We are in the process of rebuilding the rockwell t211 transfer case and when we get that done we can install it and get the pinion angle set and weld it all up. The brace helped keep everything lined up and square when we centered the axle.
