Hydroboost with drum brakes

Has anyone done a HB mod with all drum brakes? I will be installing a new engine and if due to the cam I don't have enough vacuum to run my power assist brakes will need to do the upgrade. Any tips would be great. Looks like Astro vans are quite plentiful at the local Pick a Parts.

Re: Hydroboost with drum brakes

It should work fine. The hydroboost doesn't know what it is activating. The master cylinder and proprtioning valve control that aspect.

Re: Hydroboost with drum brakes

im putting hydroboost on my 68 k20 with stock drum brakes. I don't think it will be much different than a brake booster.
